Upon additional review, ICCCBE 2018 best papers and further shortlisted papers can also be published in the special issue of ‘Advances in Computational Design (ACD)’ with Techno-press or in the special issue of ‘Journal of Structural Integrity and Maintenance (JSIM)’ with Taylor & Francis.
The special issue title of JSIM is 'Computing in Structural and Construction Engineering,' which is handled by Guest Editor Prof. Hee Sun Kim at Ewha Womans University, Korea, and more details can be found at www.tandfonline.com/tstr including the theme and aim. The special issue title of ACD is 'Advances in Computational Modelling and Data Analytics for Civil and Building Engineering,' which is handled by Guest Editor Prof. Ryan Ahn at Texas A&M University, TX, USA. Journal versions are expected to be extended by the authors for the special issues. As you see the titles of the journals, relevance to each journal is taken into account during the selection process.

ISCCBE best student paper awards
Conference will award up to 3 cash prizes to student authors.
Criteria for entry
- The paper must be classified as a “student paper”. This is defined as a paper whose first author must be a student at the time of submission. The content of the paper must have resulted from research primarily done by the student.
- The submission must be clearly labeled as an entry for the Best Student Paper Award at the time of submission (this can be done when submitting abstract).
- Both Master and PhD students are qualified to entry.
Registration of authors
Please note that we will need the full registration fee for each paper. An author who is responsible for paying the paper must pay the full registration fee (740 EUR) whether he or she is a student or not.
The Conference will get a short overarching theme to attract delegates from an ever wider base of professionals globally. However, the legacy of the ICCCBE series will be continued with the list of subthemes:
A. Analysis, simulation and sensing
B. Building Information Modeling (BIM)
C. Civil (Construction) Information Modeling (CIM)
D. Urban/environmental planning and Architecture
E. Laser scanning and photogrammetry
F. Visualization and VR/AR
G. Geographic Information System (GIS)
H. Automation and robotics for construction
I. Asset management and maintenance management
J. Facility management and BEMS/HEMS
